History of the Emporium

The Emporium was founded by Julia Harris and Marion Winder back in the Spring of 2021. The shop was then in Ynyswen.

The Official Opening

The official opening at Craig y Nos took place on the weekend of the 24th and 25th September 2022 in conjunction with a Literary Festival. It was a grand affair with a Victorian theme in line with Adelina Patti. We give great thanks to Carl Ryan of Black Planet Photography for photographing and sponsoring the weekend and to local artist A Levi who painted the Rhododendron Avenue of Craig-y-Nos to go over our door.
